What to look for in a good shampoo for frizzy, long hair?

I have long brown hair, mostly straight with a little natural wave. After I wash it %26amp; blowdry it, it's very poofy and frizzy, and hard to handle. But then, like the next day it's actually very smooth, shiny, straight, with no poof. BUT by this time, it's very oily at the top. So, I have to wash it everyday to fight the oiliness, but then the poofiness starts all over again. Please give me advice on what kind of shampoo/condtitioner to use, and what to avoid. Should I avoid the ammonium lauryl sulfates, and sodium laureth sulfates, and whatever else some shampoos have? I'm so confused! What to look for in a good shampoo for frizzy, long hair?
Ok well the new herbal essences line has a GREAT line of shampoo %26amp; conditioners for long hair. For the frizziness and the oil, you should also use another shapoo %26amp; conditioner from herbal essences. Its called dangerously straight pin straight shampoo. I have it %26amp; it works wonders!!! If you have a flat iron, you should use that too in the morning. The pin straight shampoo is designed to hold in the heat of the flat iron %26amp; keep your hair straighter, longer. You could also use this shampoo w/o a flat iron. You should alternate shampoos every other day. I would reccomend to wash it every day. Yes, you should stay away from lauryl sulfates %26amp; sodium laureth sulfates as well. Hope this helps. so your hair is oily, but sometimes frizzy. Got it. I think u should wash your hair using a shampoo that fights oiliness, then use a anti frizz serum. I recommend Herbal Essences Drama Clean Shampoo and Conditioner, or Charles Worthington Balancing Act. For the anti-frizz product, no one can beat John Frieda Anti-frizz serum. Good luck!
I have the same problem. My hair is really long and curly and super frizzy. I use Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine. It's great. It makes your hair really soft and shiny and it smells great. I use the shampoo and conditioner and the leave-in conditioner to and it makes it moist and soft and healthy. And it's not very expensive!
