Blonde hair shampoo/conditioner with knots?

i heard that blonde hair shampoo and conditioner can be used on other colour hair as the strong chemicals in the blonde shampoos work well on detangling knots and fighting frizz.. is this true or a complete lie?

cos im considering using it on my dyed dark brunette hair ..

thanks :]Blonde hair shampoo/conditioner with knots?
No that's not true. Get a leave in conditioner either a cream or spray to help with tangly hair.Blonde hair shampoo/conditioner with knots?

Aussie Sydney Smooth.

:)

I tried it, it's awesome!

To reduce frizz you could also:

wash your hair with cold water

use leave in conditioner

Don't blow dry

straighten it

don't touch your hair too much while its wet

use a wide tooth comb to work the conditioner through your hair

Hope I helped! What shampoo and conditioner would you recommend for my hair type? [easy 10 pnts]?

If oyu've tried herbal essences and it dosen't work try bio. it's professional hair salon stuff.
I would recommend Avon's Advance Techniques shampoo and conditioner.

What else could you ask for in a shampoo and conditioner.

What shampoo is preferable for a hair loss and dryness?

after many shampoo brands i've tried, none seems to work well on my hair... apparently, im facing hair loss and dryness now... now, i dont know which shampoo i should stick too... should i try again rejoice, pantene, sunsilk or herbal essence? which one is better? or is better for me to just use baby shampoo as it is less stronger in chemical stuff...?What shampoo is preferable for a hair loss and dryness?
i had the same problem. I tried loads of different brands but none worked. Finally switched to t-gel shampoo after a friends recommendation and it has seriously helped. Tgel is technically for dandruff and scalp psoriasis. It works by treating the health and condition of your scalp. I recently got a good haircut after months of using this shampoo and my hair is looking so healthy and shiny. I also took hair and nail supplements so that helped of course... good luck

What product in addition to curls shampoo can i use to make my hair get curls?

maybe a list of good scruching gel and steps on how i can use it to curl my hair What product in addition to curls shampoo can i use to make my hair get curls?
I have tried all curling products under the sun. For me, I find gels sticky and they make hair more frizzy. But I use a gel spray by Garnier Fructis. When I want to curl my hair, i use Sunsilk Waves of Envy shampoo and conditioner. They also have a spray that enhances your curls called beach waves. You can let your hair dry naturally, which makes it less frizzy, or blow dry it with a diffuser. Add the spray and a de-frizzing cream before you begin to blow dry all over. When you touch your hair a lot, it makes it frizzy so cover your hand with a towel and scrunch it that way. I can't even tell you how much of a difference it makes. So scrunch it as you blow dry and when you finish you can add more curl spray and a flexible hair spray. Don't add any gel or creams to your hair and scrunch it when it is dry. Apply any ';wet'; products to your hair when it is wet. they will only make your hair frizzy. I hope this helps!! :)What product in addition to curls shampoo can i use to make my hair get curls?
Got to B has good curling products stay away from mouses it will only frizz. Be careful with shampoos that advertise curl they may have a little perm solution in them. I have practiced cosmotology since 92 And have personally permed hair with pert and prell shampoos. So even if u end up with curl u will also end up with cotton candy hair eventually. =(
I use:

samy get curls gel (mix a nickel-sized amount with water, comb through hair with fingers)

VO5 curl scrunching spray %26amp; heat protection (spray hair, scrunch)

for a weightless gel to keep frizz down, try Biolage gelee.

you can use your hand and curl your hair then blow dry it and it makes your curls more curly.
rollers or large barrel tongs

theres this product called 'Go Curly' but i dont know how it will work for you

anyways, take care! xxx michela
i use a green fructis gel that works good for me and any strong hair spray. or any bed head products are good too

Pureology is the best. a celebrity to the stars invented it. it is for color treated hair but that doesnt matter. i have old course hair and it makes my hair like silk again. it doesnt have the alcohol and sulfates either. it is 26.00 a bottle but you dont use that much about a nickel and it is well worth the money. i use hydrating and i dont need conditioner. you can get it at beauty shops, some usa drugs and walgreens carry it. i read where jennie garth and alicia silverstone use it and other celebrities use it you can google it.
I have hair almost to my waist which is already hard to keep healthy, on top of straightening everyday and color .. I use Bed Head Self Absorbed, it's got a ton of vitamins and such.. I also like Bed Head Moisture Maniac.. Both do wonders on my hair and aren't too expensive.. A big ol' bottle is about 21 bucks at Target or any place like that.
Sebastian and Redken both make fantastic haircare products - Sebastian is my favourite, but at the moment I use Redken, and it works wonders as well. All Soft or Colour Extend (if you colour your hair) if you go for Redken; Penetraitt if you go for Sebastian.

If you buy them online they're not that expensive either:)
I have used brilliant brunette by John Freda for years now. He does ones especially for blondes and red heads too. My hair looks thick, healthy and shiney and I ALWAYS get comments on it. My hair is very long aswell, like nearly down to my bum long lol it even makes the ends of my hair look healthy.

Most of those models on those shampoo adverts have fake hair- they use hair extensions or computer trickery to make it look that shiney. However, L'Oreal Elvive Cashmere Touch is one of the best shampoos I've found, makes my hair smoother more than anything.
in real life i have never seen hair like that, not even mine straight out of the salon. i usually use head%26amp;shoulders or tresemme salon silk and my hair is pretty shiny, not like the adverts though admittedly.

What shampoo would you recommend for medium length, brownish/blond thin hair? Please read?

So I've been using redkin, but I have really fine hair, and it just seems to make my hair sort of strawish and slightly frizzy.

Also, my hairs been knotting a lot lately.

I'm looking for a shampoo that will be good for my hair, make it look shiny, and help keep it in line.

What types of shampoos would you recommend? What shampoo would you recommend for medium length, brownish/blond thin hair? Please read?
Nexxus is a great brand, but if you're looking for something cheaper, try Herbal Essences. I like Nexxus more, it makes our type of hair (yes - I suffer too!) thickers and fuller.

Here's a cool trick - shampoo your hair upside down in the shower, as though you were blow drying it over. It'll make it a LOT fuller with very little effort. What shampoo would you recommend for medium length, brownish/blond thin hair? Please read?
They have extra-body or volume shampoo's you could try.

i would try essence because it makes your hair shiny untangled and non nappy and you could find it at any local store.

HONN IT WORKS GREATT THATS WHAT I USEE:]
John Frieda's Radiant Red shampoo and conditioner

are the best from my experience, and comes highly recomended from the salon i go to. normally they have to push their own products but they all said John Frieda was really good for color protection, especially for red.

    Good luck!
Since your hair is probably very stressed and broken from the coloring and swimming (chlorine) - it's crucial that you get a good shampoo and conditioner that is easy on your hair, won't strip the color, and most of all... that is MOISTURIZING! Try using John Frieda's Radiant RedHead or Brilliant Brunette Shampoo and Conditioner. It smoothes out your hair while cleansing and moisturizing it! Also, once a week I recommend using a deep-moisturizing conditioner that will be left on for 5 minutes like Aussie's 5-Minute Miracle! This will repair damage and supply your hair with some much-needed moisture. Then after you get out of the shower make sure to comb in some leave-in conditioner to protect your hair. Best of luck!

Yes. You can also use washing up liquid too. There's no shampoo in the house and my hair is disguistingly greasy! Can I use shower gel ? ?
It will work but if it has allot of extra skin softeners in it, your hair will actually feel greasy, not dry. Most have the same basic ingredient that is in shampoo, amonium laureth sulfate.

Yep, its OK. Many moons ago my grandmother used to put soap powder in her bath water to soften it. Before the advent of smelly water softeners. Mind you, she only lived to 94
course you can, you can also use washing up liquid, it doesn't hurt to rough it now and again
Yes you can but I don't think it does your hair much good so probably don't want to use it regularly!
yeah, you can use shower gel, it will have the same sort of effect as shampoo.
    dish soap works also.
can you not put some water in the old shampoo bottle, shake then pour it onto your bonce, surely get one wash out of it.
yes so will regular old soap

What shampoo will keep my hair hydrated and un-frizzy whilst on holiday?

hey, im off to turkey for two weeks this auair daily.

i know that ty be having to wash my hair daily.

i know that this will drain all of the moisture out of my hair, and my hair goes extremely frizzy in hot weather.

i have straight to waxy hair. Which shampoo and conditioner will keep my hair well hydrated and frizz free in the hot weather?

    thanks !

xxWhat shampoo will keep my hair hydrated and un-frizzy whilst on holiday?
Redken All-Soft. Use both the shampoo and the conditioner. It's amazing stuff.

On any shampoo or conditioner, check the ingredients. If you see any form of alcohol listed, do not buy it. Alcohol causes more drying and frizzing. It can be words like ';stearyl alcohol';, meaning ethyl alchohol. What shampoo will keep my hair hydrated and un-frizzy whilst on holiday?
I suggest you use garnier fructis sleek %26amp; shine shampoo and conditioner, it stops your hair getting frizzy when humudity is in the air, and there will be a lot of humudity in turkey, so this will help protect your hair and keep the frizz away!. Also another good thing is they are quite lightweight and cheap to buy, also I would suggest buying a uv protector spray to put in your hair, to block out the harmful uv rays of the sun as this can damage hair also, and make sure you use a really good serum as well. Good luck! :)Hope this helps

Neutrogena Triple Moisture. What is the best shampoo for very damaged hair?
ok first of all shampoo and get a leave in conditioner adn then trim your dead ends off and since its summer try to rinse off clorine exactly after swimming and try to avoid heat products like if you blow dry it let it air dry and if you straighten it let it go wavy or what ever thats just my suggestion
The absolute best is the new brand called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells awesome! Organix has different collections for different hair types which are all amazing! You can get Organix at Target, Albertsons, Kroger, Bed Bath %26amp; Beyond, Duane Reade, Safeway, etc. Its the best! You'll love it!!!

    .
Use a gentle shampoo for the time being (such as baby shampoo - it doesn't have as many chemicals that will deteriorate your hair further).

Then, cut off your ends as there is nothing you can do to revive them.

If you start to use the flat iron again, invest in some product that will protect your hair while you straighten it. A good conditioning cream that you leave in your hair for a few minutes before washing it out will do you good as well. I also recommend you use a a leave-in conditioner after you're done with the flat iron.
Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a ';little'; honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

instead of flat ironing ur hair next time, try this different method to get straight hair:

wash ur hair, then blow dry ur hair downwards, using a comb to brush ur hair from the roots to the end. after ur hair is dried, lightly spray hairspray into ur hair (i strongly suggest using pantene texture hairspray mega hold) and comb it through ur hair.

    good luck!
ok this website i found it doesn't say a certain website but wait it has all kinds of things that u can do with ur hair with out having to go out and buy real expensive hair products it tells u how to make it shine look healthier and lots more try it
john frieda is great for smoothing out damaged hair. but what would really help your hair is what my friend has been doing for years to keep her hair looking damage and split end free, once a month wash your hair with salt, yes i said salt as the one you put on food and stuff. it seems weird but it really helps, it takes away all the damage from streightening hair and all the damage and dryness on your scalp.
If you have not been using your flat iron properly, no amount of shampoo will undo that sin. However, I do suggest a good cut ( not trim) and a truely good reconstrutor such as Joico's KPAK. Rinse all conditioners in cool water for optimum benefit. And from now on use a thermal protectant with your flat iron like CHI Iron Guard 44 and be sure that you have a good ceramic iron. TIP- if you do not see a small amount of steam you are singeing your hair. Flat irons work with steam, steam is moisture, if you dont provide it with thermal spray, guess where it comes from. Your hair! You may already have gone too far.

  • What is the best shampoo and/or conditioner that helps save your hair color from fading out so fast?

I use garnier frutice's color formula. It doen't strip the color, plus it makes your hair soft and smells good!

If i use blonde shampoo from john frieda what would it do to my hair?

i have brown hair and if i used the shampoo made for blondes would it still work or would it make my hair lighter? If i use blonde shampoo from john frieda what would it do to my hair?
Those kinds of products don't change the color of your hair. They make them because they are supposed to help each different hair color in some way, or at least that's what they say. It's just shampoo. It won't lighten your hair.If i use blonde shampoo from john frieda what would it do to my hair?
This line from John Frieda is meant to enhance your natural or color treated hair specifically according to color so if your hair is brown it will not benefit your hair color.

    If you are looking to lighten your hair or add highlights an at home highlighting kit is inexpensive and easy to use. Look for the kits that have the comb applicator as these make highlighting easier as well as more natural looking. The following are good kits to consider and are all available for under $25;

    Clairol Herbal Essences HighLights

    L'Or茅al Couleur Experte

Revlon High Dimension Color Accents Highlighting Kit

For the most natural looking highlights don't go too light.

If your just looking to add shine to your hair you can try an at home glaze, John Frieda makes one for Brunettes.

    Hope this helps!

Dunno if that makes sense, but yeah.

Is putting water on your hair without shampoo bad for it?

on a daily basisIs putting water on your hair without shampoo bad for it?
NO its not bad, in fact it is good.

Assuming your in a job say for example an office worker rather than a motor machanic.

Coming home from work and not all that dirty.

In that case using shampoo daily is in fact not the best.

No chemical can be a better than a natural way.

Rinsing you hair will be a better choice say every second day in place of shampoo daily. In fact if your in an office then washing it every second day would be an even better idea.Is putting water on your hair without shampoo bad for it?
Not unless you are washing it that way. Not much is going to get clean. Your oils will build up and eventually your hair will stink. Otherwise if you are using water just to restyle if wont hurt it.
man.. think about this.. even before you shampoo ur hair.. u gotta wet it rite?

    so.. no contest here man..
to a certain extent yes it is,

becuase the oils are building up in your hair system causing the hair to smell oily and unattrctive. i would recommmend (if you like washing your hair withour shampoo etc) to alternate with shampo and non shampoo.

if you dont wash ur hair seldomly (at least) with shampoo, your hair becomes parched rough and still, looking dull and smelling bad.

    hope that answers ur question

    take care
this is okay..u have to use water before u always put the shampoo on...

so its no problem..sometimes i do that too..it's just like swimming as a matter of fact.

Perhaps the chemicals he uses in it would do strange things to your hair.

Or in more simple terms, the chemicals mixed together could have a very bad effect on the texture of your hair.
because it's not meant for it, obviously. there are chemicals in it that react negatively with whatever is in hair dye.

    head and shoulders!

and no i dont have dandruff...because i use the shampoo!! lol some people get grossed out by the brand of shampoo?? but really, its worse if u have dandruff and DONT use it...

    anyways....

once a week i use the garnier fructis hair masque

and i use strength and repair conditioner.

occasionally i use the color shield shampoo because i dye my hair.
the best shampoo i have ever used is head and shoulders!!!!!!!!!!!

no shampoo can make your hair darker, but this ives it a shine so it looks healthier.

make sure you condition every single day too and do a hair mask once a week, one containing avocado.
I use that John Frieda Brilliant Brunette stuff. Just because I dye my hair a lot (although brown's my natural color) and it makes it shinier and more healthy whenever I take it back to brown.
I use herbal essences. use whichever type is best for your hair type. It hasn't made my hair darker

Ok, so my hair is all those things, it feels like straw, and the split ends are never-ending. And yes, I have tried all of those home remedies, and those are nice for every once in a while, but I want a shampoo and or conditioner that is not only great for your hair, but makes your hair more healthy. And I know the only way to get rid of split ends is to cut them. And no pantene pro-v or anything like that please. It is just that every hairstylst has a different opinion, and I just want to hear from someone who is either a professional or has hair like mine and knows what they are talking about. My daughter has hair down to her butt. she has learned that she needs to not use the same kind for more than a month. because it builds up on your hair. the price means nothing. one month she'll be using sauve, and the next month it's something else.

she also uses a hot oil treatment every 6 weeks, it stops hers from getting dried out. When you use conditioner, make sure you leave it un for a few minutes to really get the benifits from it.

Dear hon, IT's not in the shampoo/Conditioner but in the daily care. TRUST ME!!! I myself have long, Multiple processed dreds (that's right, three strikes %26amp; I'm out). We're talking bleached at least seven times in the past two months, dyed more times than you can count AND DREDDED!!!! So what I've found is that dry hair and curly hair like ours truly has to undergo a beauty ritual to be truly healthy. First, you should have a light oil that you use on your hair every day WITHOUT FAILURE!!! Mine is an olive oil, but there are great placenta, mink, carrot, and coconut oils you can try. Next, twice a week you should apply a hair balm to your hair (and I do mean once every 3.5 days). First you have to apply it to your scalp, then you have to apply it to the entire length of your hair from root to tip, so it really is two jobs in one. I like indian hemp best of all for this (but it really has to be a cream or a vaseline like substance or it won't stick). Finaly, once a week regardless of what your regular conditioner is, you should add a deep conditioner that can stay on your head for like 30 minutes to your routine. I don't care about the oil conditioner because that's never thorough enough. I'm talking like a nice creamy cholesterol that will really sit there for a while. After this bombardment of daily protection and nourishment, your hair will recover major damage points and a shine you haven't seen in probably a while.
Mine was kinda like that but I use Frederic Fekkai's products and it works on me, I use these ranges - http://beauty-tricks.com/index.php?optio鈥?/a>

Sunsilk is the best. Go for it. It has egg proteins in it which is specially made for dry, damaged and frizzy hair.
Honestly, this is a personal opinion. I use Tigi Bedhead Dumb Blonde. It is not just for blondes, it is meant for all damaged hair (the name ';Dumb Blonde'; is derived from girls dying their hair blonde to the point of complete and utter destruction). It ,worked on my hair (VERY WELL, VERY CONDITIONING!) but everyone is different. It is also not cheap. BUT, I can tell you from past expeiences, that usually it goes on sale at salons, or at authorized retailers (like Trade Secret) at certain times of the year, like after Christmas, for 19.99 for a liter of shampoo and a liter of conditioner. That is pretty much a steal on anyone's budget, if you think of the quality of the product you are getting, and also the volume (2 liters in all). But please listen to everyone and take thaqt into account; what works for one may not work for another. Good luck and God bless your frazzled hair! Terra G

I just dyed my hair.. How long before I can shampoo it?

I already rinsed out my hair, obviously.. but how long am I supposed to wait before I can shampoo it?

I work in the morning and my scalp is all pink and gross and I really want to wash it!!I just dyed my hair.. How long before I can shampoo it?
Your supposed to wait a day or 2 to let the color really sink in. However, if your skin is becoming irritated from it that is also dangerous. I'd say wash it but don't lavish the shampoo throughout your hair. Just lighty rub your scalp to get rid of any excess color that's resting on your scalp.I just dyed my hair.. How long before I can shampoo it?
you can wash it now. its already set in the color and now you need to take off the extra dye that was not rinsed away by the dye. lol trust me. i kno this stuff because i once dyed my hair over 4 times one day because i wasnt happy with the shade. lol so go ahead and wash it.

(jst a tip- because you probably used a permanent color, you mite want to get a glaze with it. you can get a glaze almost anywhere and get a clear one. it will enhance the shineyness and the color and also make your hair healthy after dying it)
You can shampoo your hair whenever you want. If its permanent, you can wash it all day and night if you wanted to, but it will fade every now and then. For an 8 wash or something, it should be ok to shampoo it right now, but only scrub lightly at the roots and no where else. When i colour my hair, i shampoo it straight after ive rinsed it, but very quickly, just to get rid of excess colour.

    xx
After dying your hair, you need to wash it off within 45mins to one hour after application. Then proceed with the conditioner that was provided in the box with the dye colour. The reason your scalp is pink, is because you have had it on too long.

Please have you hair washed a.s.a.p.

    Take care.
Since your scalp is pink I assume you did red. It depends on what kind of dye u used. Be aware any shade of red appears to wash out quicker than any other color. If you used a permanant hair color go ahead and wash it using cool water. Only wash it a couple times a week for lasting results.
I was able to wash my hair as soon as I got home from my friends house where we died my hair. try looking on the box and if it doesnt say anything about it, assume you can as soon as your hair dries.
You have an irritation so you should use a little shampoo and LOTS nad LOTS of water to rinse it, Aside the rash I try to wait at least one week so my color will stay longer.
well if you dont want the color to faid i well say 2 times a week. that is how long my friend takes to shampoo it.

hope i helped take care ^_^
24 hours, after u wash out the dye with shampoo and conditioner
go wash it now! dont use a dandrif or clarifying shampoo tho it can take some of the color away tho scince its new.
    DO IT NOW ALREADY
    gooo wash it now!!
now!!! and use a lot of conditioneer on your tips or youll get split ends!!!

    Pantene or L'occitane

Is Pantene shampoo good for hair?

I have heard that pantene is not good for hair. What do you think?Do you have any experience with this shampoo? What about the Pantene conditioners?Does pantene makes hair grow healthy and stronger? Is Pantene shampoo good for hair?
try palmolive. Is Pantene shampoo good for hair?
For me I thought that Pantene Shampoo made my hair dry, brittle and it it not worth the money that it costs
I have tried just about every shampoo I can find to see if it is the best or works. I didn't care for pantene, but I highly reccomend AUSSIE shampoos and conditioners. They have several types out for different types of hair. You can go to AUSSIE.COM and take a little questionair and it will kick back exactly which ones are best for you. My hair is healthier since I started using it about a year ago . Hope this helps
I am sure it feels thicker and stronger, but it made my hair very 'moisturized' and limp...and that was just the shampoo. I didn't like it.
    i think thats not a bad choise but in my mine ';head and shoulder'; is a another good ones.. or you can try ';rejoice';
Pantene is a godd shampoo to buy over the counter at your local drugstore... but that doesn't mean that it is what is best for you. Pantene is known for giving the hair lots of shine, volume, and ';strenth';. While it will appear to have done that -- it's just an illussion. Pantene gets its' name from the key ingredient, which is ';panthenol'; or more commonly known as ';wax';. (Most shampoos have this ingredient) It will leave a light layer of wax on your hairshaft which over the course of time will slowly build up leaving the hair shiny and feeling thicker. You will be tricked into thinking that your hair must also be healthier because of this... but don't be fooled. This layer of wax is choking the hairshaft and will eventually cause the follicle to be clogged and the strand will fall out and until you unclog the follicle -- no new hair will take its place.

Your best advice if you choose to purchase Pantene is to switch it up with a good ';clarifying'; shampoo every few days. Beyond that -- spend the money at your local mall salon to get the good stuff. The cost comes from the fact that it is highly concentrated and uses better quailty ingredients. About $6 to $10 is a good price to pay and it should last you about 3 months if you use the correct amount. (Pea sized for short hair and nickel sized for long hair) Good luck!
    not mine
Yes...I love Pantene! It won't make your hair grow fast, but when it grows, it wll make very healthy. I have tried it one time with knotty, very oily, gross hair. Now it is beautiful! Please try it!

    : D Thanks
ya its good egg painteen is the best mean yellow , n its growth fast n also make the hair silky
pantene works great with my hair...it made my hair reall smooth n soft.....i guess u'll get best result if u can select which one is proper for ur hair type
Thanx Legacy -- I would have never known or guessed !!!!!
pantene uses animal fats to ';nourish'; hair but it will only coat hair with wax, making it limp and a lot more prone to breakage. you may see results at first, but don't be fooled in the long run your hair will be more damaged then when you started.
My hairdresser told me never to use Pantene, but she never gave me a reason. Probably because I never asked.
I wouldnt think so Nioxin is much better its used for thinning and to make hair stronger you can get it at the salon
ive heard that it coats the hair with a thin plastic substance! but dont know wethere to belive that or not!

I have very thin hair, I use a STRAIGHTENER on my bangs every day, and on all of my hair about 3 times a month. I also blow it dry every morning.

Im looking for a good shampoo that will effectively make it stronger and that isn't too expensive. Ive heard of Nexxus, but where I live, it's like $13.95Any tips for a good shampoo for someone with very fine, weak hair?
For starters, you should consider cutting back on doing such damaging things to your hair! Straightening your bangs every day is going to make them all fall out!

As far as good products, a conditioner would be more helpful in strengthening your hair. I use Biolage conditioning balm that you can get at hair salons. I only use it about once a week and a container will usually last me a few months.

Since your hair is thin, I'd try something volumizing and light like Herbal Essence Body Envy. You can usually get a nice big bottle of it for 5 bucks. Herbal Essence also offers products for damaged hair that should help with strengthening.

    Hope that helps! :)

    Garnier Shampoo and Conditioner
Use Pantene Pro-V daily moisture renewal shampoo and conditioner. Apply and rinse the shampoo as normal, but leave the conditioner on for a couple minutes to let it soak in, and then rinse. Also, once a week, I use Pantene Pro-V Moisturizing Essential Hydrating Rinse. Leave that on for a few minutes as well. It completely changes the moisture of your hair. It's softer and the split ends go away. You can buy big bottles of these at Sam's club, which is a really good deal.
i use bath and body works products

You cant really repair the damaged hair. So you will have to chop them off. To avoid any further damage, switch your shampoo to Loreals liss extreme or intense repair. Trust me it works wonders. Also go in for a deep conditioning treatment once a week. And you will see the effect. You will practically fall in love with ur hair after that.

Do i have to shampoo my hair?

well i bleached my hair with 40 volume and then put in green hair dye and blue hair dye. there manic panic. my friend who does his hair said he doesn't wash his hair which i think is nasty. do you have to wash it? or do you wash it but put conditioner in it?Do i have to shampoo my hair?
manic panic is semi permanent, so to make the color last longer, wash it every other or every two days. after the initial application, you shouldn't wash your for 2 days to let the color set. in between washing, you can use dry shampoo.Do i have to shampoo my hair?
if you have hair shorter than two inches not really just use water it's not like it's so thick that you need it. unless you spill soda or something on your hair then no. but if it's long hair then yes you should use shampoo.

apply brown rice moisture hair mask, this how to do it just simply wash your hair then apply very small amount and leave it for 30 minutes before you take a bath. The longer to leave it before taking a bath, the better, you can buy it in any department store. It is organic mask derive from rice.
Use a clarifying shampoo (pantene pro V is good) then use an intense leave-in conditioner to make your hair really smooth and shiny (Tresemme is really good).

Another good tip is too wash off your conditioner with cold water to make it really shiny.

    Hope this helps :)
aphogee shampoo and conditioner, i use it and thats what i wanted for my hair and i got it with this brand! its not exactly like cheap if you want results you gotta put another $10 into it
There is one at Walgreen's. It comes in a green bottle and it is organic. Ask when you go there. It runs about $10 though. The reason why I got it because it was free after the rebate.
The best shampoo is Head and Shoulders! Trust me! Your hair turn beautiful silky and soft and smooth!!!!

    -cynthiaaaa :)
Kerastase shampoo and conditioner is the best but expensive
I use pantene, it doesn't dry out your hair, it makes your hair silky and shiny I like it a lot!
Mane and Tail. It is sold for washing horses. It will do exactly what you want.

Do Certain Types Of Shampoo Contain Hair Dye?

Like 'Sheer Brunette' or 'Sheer Blonde' By John Frieda. Would Using The Shampoo Alter The Colour Of My Hair/EyeBrows?Do Certain Types Of Shampoo Contain Hair Dye?
No, it says on the bottle ';THIS DOES NOT ALTAR HAIR COLOUR';... i know because i use it. it just brings out highlights, if even that. =/

Can one mix perfume and conditioner/shampoo to make one's hair smell good?

I was thinking of mixing a little bit of my perfume with my conditioner to make my hair smell good for a longer amount of time. Does adding perfume to conditioner keep the conditioner from being effective... or will I produce something that doesn't smell good if I mix perfume and conditioner together? Can one mix perfume and conditioner/shampoo to make one's hair smell good?
Perfumes have oils and alchohol in them, so It will change the hair products. Making your hair either dry or greasy, you never know... I would just spray perfume on the underside of your hair in a ponytail and let it down after if you want to scent your hair. That way it won't frizz or be too strong. Can one mix perfume and conditioner/shampoo to make one's hair smell good?
Wont work! Try herbal essence they have beautiful smelling shampoo and conditioner! Give it a go!
Perfume has a high alcohal content wich could be drying to your hair but they do have hair perfume at walmart
you could only try it - just make a small bach to see what its like first

    Cheers
i reckon the scent of the perfume will probably be affected by the scent of the conditioner.. but it shouldn't stunt how affective the conditioner is. I say try mixing a small amount of each together and then see how it goes
I don't think it's good cause perfume has alcohol in it and i dont think that the latter is good for hair
i wouldn't recommend it, it could damage your hair..

buy another shampoo/conditioner that has a stronger, lasting smell.. may i suggest pantene or even herbal essences? =P
