What is the best shampoo for very damaged hair?

for about 4 years i've been flat-ironing my hair, and it is sooooo....damaged, but i've decided to stop for a while , what shampoo can i use while i'm not straightening it, to make it more healthy??What is the best shampoo for very damaged hair?
Neutrogena Triple Moisture. What is the best shampoo for very damaged hair?
ok first of all shampoo and get a leave in conditioner adn then trim your dead ends off and since its summer try to rinse off clorine exactly after swimming and try to avoid heat products like if you blow dry it let it air dry and if you straighten it let it go wavy or what ever thats just my suggestion
The absolute best is the new brand called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells awesome! Organix has different collections for different hair types which are all amazing! You can get Organix at Target, Albertsons, Kroger, Bed Bath %26amp; Beyond, Duane Reade, Safeway, etc. Its the best! You'll love it!!!

.
Use a gentle shampoo for the time being (such as baby shampoo - it doesn't have as many chemicals that will deteriorate your hair further).

Then, cut off your ends as there is nothing you can do to revive them.

If you start to use the flat iron again, invest in some product that will protect your hair while you straighten it. A good conditioning cream that you leave in your hair for a few minutes before washing it out will do you good as well. I also recommend you use a a leave-in conditioner after you're done with the flat iron.
Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a ';little'; honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

instead of flat ironing ur hair next time, try this different method to get straight hair:

wash ur hair, then blow dry ur hair downwards, using a comb to brush ur hair from the roots to the end. after ur hair is dried, lightly spray hairspray into ur hair (i strongly suggest using pantene texture hairspray mega hold) and comb it through ur hair.

good luck!
ok this website i found it doesn't say a certain website but wait it has all kinds of things that u can do with ur hair with out having to go out and buy real expensive hair products it tells u how to make it shine look healthier and lots more try it
john frieda is great for smoothing out damaged hair. but what would really help your hair is what my friend has been doing for years to keep her hair looking damage and split end free, once a month wash your hair with salt, yes i said salt as the one you put on food and stuff. it seems weird but it really helps, it takes away all the damage from streightening hair and all the damage and dryness on your scalp.
If you have not been using your flat iron properly, no amount of shampoo will undo that sin. However, I do suggest a good cut ( not trim) and a truely good reconstrutor such as Joico's KPAK. Rinse all conditioners in cool water for optimum benefit. And from now on use a thermal protectant with your flat iron like CHI Iron Guard 44 and be sure that you have a good ceramic iron. TIP- if you do not see a small amount of steam you are singeing your hair. Flat irons work with steam, steam is moisture, if you dont provide it with thermal spray, guess where it comes from. Your hair! You may already have gone too far.
