Blonde hair shampoo/conditioner with knots?

i heard that blonde hair shampoo and conditioner can be used on other colour hair as the strong chemicals in the blonde shampoos work well on detangling knots and fighting frizz.. is this true or a complete lie?


cos im considering using it on my dyed dark brunette hair ..

but i think all highlight enhancing shampoos have hair color protecting and moisturizing
